The Mediocre Players Guide to Thronebreaker EQ
June 2024
Paragon Guantlet Info below ↓
Old Sarge's Initial Thoughts: Easy Path is pretty Easy. None of the Bosses are overly difficult- though Arcade can be a little tricky. Toad (1.2) and Spot (2.2) were a small pain in the ass- but not too bad. Pretty easy Month. Have Fun!
Old Sarge's Final Thoughts: Not too bad a month. 2.2 Spot boss is a pain in the ass. Other than that- new champs are both cool, but not too exciting for me visually. I think Northstar is gonna be fun to play!
Good luck to everyone running EQ this month, I hope this guide helps. As always- when someone posts a champ that kills a quest or a Boss, I'll update this guide!
Paragon Gauntlet

This team was great for Paragon Gauntlet objective. Zero items used.
Ghost: Bullseye
Toad: Omega Sentinel
Kindred: Bullseye
Spot: Bullseye
Northstar: Omega Sentinel
Arcade: Gladiator
Bullseye was amazing for all of his fights. What a great champ!

For the Paragauntlet I used this team (all fights were solos).
Scorpion for Kindred (Shock Prefight),
Guardian for Toad and Northstar.
Angela for Ghost, Spot and Arcade.
Ghost is just pretty much a regular fight, just alternate specials, don't go for SP3 and don’t Parry.
Toad- build to sp3 (bait his specials regularly through the whole fight and don’t push him to the wall). Knock him down before using sp3, then use same method but with sp2.
Kindred- stick to MLM combo and Sp1’s to build debuffs on him and use the root timer to place it on him.
Spot- just treated this as a stun immune fight, when you get rooted during his heavy you can punish the 2nd hit as long as you dex it. Just need to keep an eye on his spots (if he’s at 5, trigger the falter then wait it out.
Northstar- same method as Toad, minus the knockdowns. But just be sure to keep enough distance to stop him gaining the unblockable buff and bait the sp1 as super easy to avoid.
Arcade- bait heavy and punish after the 1st hit to stop him placing a trap. Don’t hit his block, and try to push him to sp2 as easier to evade/take less damage.

Saga Champions:
Ghost: CGR works against Ghost with a usual short fight rotation
Toad: Vox with an sp3 spam (careful when at 10 prowess) or OS can both do Toad, but it's slow cuz of Protection
Kindred: Overseer and Scorpion are great for Kindred. Watch out for Degen and root. I personally kept pushing sp2.
Spot: OS with Tracking prefight can fight Spot 2.2 pretty well (don't hit untouchable too much)
Northstar: CGR is ok for Northstar 3.1. The Unblockable can make it tricky to get a proper rotation down but it's doable
Arcade: My favorite fight was with Vox. I think he's easily the best for Arcade 3.2
